How to Reach

The temple is located at North Paravur in Ernakulam district. Aluvan -Paravur road takes straight to this temple. From Guruvaryur, it is at 60kms, on the way to Sabarimala; 11kms from Kodungalloor Bhgagavathi temple on the route to Chottanikkara Bhagavathi Temple.

Air : International Air Port is at Nedumbassery, near Aluva, about 18 kms away. Airport Enquiry: 0484-2610015.

Rail : The nearest station is at Aluva about 8km. Kochi has 2 stations, Ernakulam Junction and Ernakulam Town. Trains from the Northern cities/Southern parts of India stop at Ernakulam Junction at D.H Road, Ernakulam South (Ph: 131), and Ernakulam Town, Near North Bridge (Ph: 0484-2390920, 2395198)

Road : Buses are very frequent from Ernakulam to Paravur. There are two routes- one across the Goshree bridges connecting the islands of Bolghatty, Mulavukadu, Vallarpadam via Vypeen island (about 25kms) and the other via Edapally (19 kms) and Cherai to North Paravur. KSRTC Central Bus station is near the Ernakulam Junction railway station. Enquiry phone : 0484-2352033, 2372033. Private Buses operate from Boat Jetty, High Court Junction, Railway Station and Kaloor Junction.

from Ernakulam that stretches out across the backwaters connecting the islands of Bolghatty, Mulavukadu, Vallarpadam and Vypeen make tourist access to this beach much more easier. There is another road route via Edappally to North Paravur.
